i can no longer hide from it. my coworkers all take great pride in sending me cat ‘things.’ the reasons are beyond me, but the things they dig up are almost all worth sharing. in turn, i will share them with you. i will call this series, cat lady.

this is me. i’m in dc and i’m: living, working, gardening, swimming, learning, petting dogs, talking, brushing my teeth (not enough can be said about good oral hygene), cooking, riding my bike, reading, going to school, eating, walking, running, sprinting, drinking, sleeping and listening.

i can’t stand questions like, ‘what’s your favorite book? movie? song? or artist?’ because i find them boring. chicago is my blood. i’ve called seattle and italy home. dc suits my current mood. my dad is my best friend. i like bud in a can, but have been called a beer/wine/food snob on more than one occasion. i’d like to live greener. i’d also like to be realistic. i will always own a car.

i strongly believe that the secret to making green is going green. this is the intention i plan to learn by, live by and work by.
