sometimes in the morning, i let my alarm continue to ‘sleep’ in case i want to take a quick nap before work
i have at least a little chocolate, every single day. and it shows, but that’s okay.
i read my kindle every day. but i also read my book with real pages every day too. i can’t let go.
i have been watching saved by the bell (almost) every morning while i get ready for work since college and i was getting ready for ‘class.’
i also flip back and forth to the today show bc i have a crush on matt lauer. i don’t understand this crush bc when you look closely, his hair (or what’s left of it) is sort of gross.
as it turns out, i AM a cat person. but only sorta. i’m not ready to stop denying this.
if i thought i could get away with it, i would wear a t-shirt, fleece, jeans, sneakers or cowboy boots, a dog and a cup of coffee everywhere. even in the summer. this is nearly 60% of my motivation to move to colorado.
the first time i joined the sierra club, it was for the free gift. i have felt so guilty ever since that i always decline every free gift now, even if i REALLY want it.
i have taken to the driving range this year. but i have no interest in playing an actual game.
my vacuum has been broken for nearly 2 months. don’t worry, i just ordered a new one. but, i’m dreading it’s arrival bc then i’ll have to start vacuuming again. i hate vacuuming.
i get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. sometimes this makes planning my day difficult. ~ e. b. white
this is me. i’m in dc and i’m: living, working, gardening, swimming, learning, petting dogs, talking, brushing my teeth (not enough can be said about good oral hygene), cooking, riding my bike, reading, going to school, eating, walking, running, sprinting, drinking, sleeping and listening.

i can’t stand questions like, ‘what’s your favorite book? movie? song? or artist?’ because i find them boring. chicago is my blood. i’ve called seattle and italy home. dc suits my current mood. my dad is my best friend. i like bud in a can, but have been called a beer/wine/food snob on more than one occasion. i’d like to live greener. i’d also like to be realistic. i will always own a car.

i strongly believe that the secret to making green is going green. this is the intention i plan to learn by, live by and work by.

oh and ice cream. i LOVE ice cream.
