of course that little rodent saw his freaking shadow.
jerkface.
nawww, i like winter. i like cold. i like snow. i do, i really really do.
i love running in the cold. i am so much faster. so much more focused. and this weekend i proved that a snowy blizzardy run can be super fun. but, once was enough. or every once in a while is enough. its a real pain in the ass to plan to run fast in icey conditions. and i’m a planner. so, i’m going a little insane with this up in the air crap. there is no way i’m running 10 miles in on a treadmill this weekend. HECK NO. phil, you can suck it.
i like to bundle up and wear hats and gloves. it makes me feel all warm and cozy. but this weekend, i lost a crucial button on one of my heavy winter coats. i was hoping i could just get by without it. i mean, it is dc. winter is not real here. we don’t have snow or wind or temps that are THAT low. except that this year we do. looks like this girls gotta learn to sew. eff you, phil.
my toes get cold. they are always cold. even in the summer, they are cold. while i like winter, i’m ready for my toes to be warm. so unless you, dear phil, plan to come and sit on them to keep them warm for the next six weeks, i would appreciate it if you would reverse your decision.
what kind of name is punxsutawney anyway? why do we listen to him. i think there were lots of cameras and spot lights out there. how could he have possible NOT seen his shadow in conditions like those?
alllllllll that being said….summer, heat, humidity, skin cancer….please stay where you are. we will come to you when we are good and ready.
